For kids in grades 4-8: The Ferndale Library and Affirmations co-host a social club/book club for kids, tweens/teens, meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm in the library's program room.
This is a social hour that includes a book discussion. Each month, attendees have the chance to read and then discuss a selected book at the Reading Rainbow.
Kids don't have to have finished (or even started) the book to attend the Reading Rainbow; the rest of the hour is free time dedicated to socializing/crafting/hanging out together.
Drop-ins are always welcome!

On Tues., May 26, we'll be discussing The Girl from the Sea by Molly Knox Ostertag: From the author of The Witch Boytrilogy comes a graphic novel about family and first love. Our monthly book club, in partnership with the Ferndale Project, meets on the last Tuesday of each month. This event is hosted AT the Ferndale Project at 567 Livernois.
