"It's Easy Being Green" presented by the Ferndale Garden Club

Cheryl English from Black Cat Pottery presents “It’s Easy To Be Green,” providing tips and insights on how to grow a greener garden, as in eco-friendly steps that minimize waste.

Attendees will learn gardening practices that support environmental sustainability. This is part of FGC's ongoing quarterly series of events at the library.

Cheryl M English is a long-time resident of metro Detroit who holds a Bachelor's (MSU) and Master's (Cornell) in Art History. Cheryl’s pottery work, through Black Cat Pottery, is a reflection of her “other” passion: gardening. As an Advanced Master Gardener (certified through Wayne County Extension), her abiding interest in things natural – and indigenous – is reflected in her whimsical creations.
