Our Lower Elementary Book Club for young readers (grades K-2) meets on the first Wednesday of each month. In DECEMBER, we will be reading/discussing The Arabic Quilt by Aya Khalil.

This will be a hybrid event, meaning participants can join us in person OR via Zoom on Wednesday, December 7, at 6:30 pm. In-person attendees will be hosted in the library's spacious Community Room. We'll send a Zoom link to those who prefer to join virtually the day before our meeting.  (Note: Zoom participants will not be recorded but will be visible to in-person participants).

MORE ABOUT THE BOOK: Kanzi's family has moved from Egypt to America, and on her first day in a new school, what she wants more than anything is to fit in. In the end, Kanzi's most treasured reminder of her old home provides a pathway for acceptance in her new one.
