This September, Ferndale residents have the chance at winning some fun prizes when they sign up for (or renew) their library cards and then put them to good use!
Starting on Tues., September 2nd, Ferndale cardholders will be presented with a sizable list of optional activities, arranged as digital Bingo Sheets in Beanstack, a reading platform available as both a website and a mobile app, designed to promote reading through challenges and activities.
There are activities and prize opportunities available for all ages, including teens and youth (ages 12 & under). However, one effective outcome of Library Card Sign-Up Month is that it serves to remind grown-ups everywhere that the library is more than just a homework helper or a building that provides copies of curriculum classics. So much more, indeed!

- We have three unique challenges, depending on your age range
- KIDS (0-12), TEENS (13-18), and ADULTS (18+)
Complete activities using your library card! Each completed activity earns you entries into a drawing for a library-related prize at the end of the month.
A Bingo (line) or Cover All (full card) earns special prizes that can be picked up at the Circulation Desk.
